System Overview

(PSI) is dedicated to the total automation of Accounts Payable. By automating each step of the A/P payment process, justification becomes the key element in the decision to automate and reduce cost.

Eliminating manual input and manual filing is the initial step in the automation process. Add the ability to search for documents in the image repository, add annotations, fax, and email and view documents from any location adds adaptability. To eliminate delays in the approval module, Workflow will mange the total process. Once the system has processed the invoice, it is emailed to the appropriate Approver. The Approver can view all the documents associated with the invoice. If there is a delay in approving the invoice, the system will automatically send a reminder, eliminating lost discounts. The G/L module eliminates General Ledger manual account assignment by automatically assigning the correct account number. This will result in a more accurate G/L account assignment and audit cost reduction. Once the invoice is approved and the account number assigned, the invoice is automatically sent to the A/P accounting system for check preparation.

For those companies that have complex discounts and credits, the Pre-Audit module will manage this process by performing a 3 way match, and then compare the vendor contract to the invoice. This results in a pre-audit of the invoice before the check is written. More (go to the pre-audit page)
